I research and write in-depth stories on the candidates running for election in Arizona. With a focus in campaign finance, I also analyze donor spending and raising, along with intermittent social media analyis of Arizonan voters.

I was one of the lead writers for this story that uncovered how most Arizonan housing authorities did not have a formal approval process for landlords. Our team used datasets and public records to delve deeper into the privatization of the public housing system in the US. I also created photos for the digital story.

I examined data from the Arizona Department of Corrections and Vera, researched on the criminal justice system in Arizona, and reported on prison education in the Arizona State Prison Complex. I produced a digital and documentary story for this series.
